My passion for dance began at a very young age; however, I consciously chose it as my path when I was 13. With limited resources, I trained myself at home for years using YouTube (and I still do), striving to become as versatile as possible I also trained at several local studios in İzmir for 6 years. I eagerly chased every opportunity, taking workshop classes from world-renowned choreographers.
At 17, I started teaching dance classes in İzmir. I was a regular instructor at DansStop, Okudans Academy, Dance Garage, HipHome Studio, and Berkehan Dural Academy. My responsibilities included creating lesson plans tailored to Hip Hop and Jazz Funk dance techniques and methodologies, adapting them to various skill levels and age groups. I taught choreography and combinations in crowded classes to adults, teens, and kids and also created shows and performances. I have performed and choreographed for local projects in İzmir, working with emerging bands, municipality initiatives, flash mobs, and local independent brands. In 2021, I booked my first professional job as a dancer in the Bollywood movie TIGER 3. Since then, I completed my education, obtained my degree, and moved to İstanbul to pursue this dream.
And since moving to Istanbul I’ve performed at events, at concerts behind Turkish artists like Uzi and Afra, in commercials such as “Kale Seramik” , in music videos with emerging artists, started teaching again at MDC NRG Dance Studio and of course continued training.
With a passion for fluid, innovative
movement, I focus on crafting visually captivating routines that resonate with audiences. I continue my work and fulfill my passion as I collaborate with brands and artists, bringing their vision to life through dance for commercials, music videos, stage performances and more.
Advice for beginner dancers:
Don’t wait for the perfect time, the perfect opportunity, the perfect people to pursue what your heart desires, time flies by and circumstances are never perfect but it will all be worth it when you look back after a year and say “I did that”. You are responsible for your and your inner child’s happiness.
Motto in life: You know you best.
