From 2009 to 2018, I trained professionally in rhythmic gymnastics in St. Petersburg. I achieved the first adult rank. (My gymnastics training included choreography. Our teacher is from the Vaganova School, so even at a mature age, I have a love for classical dance and ballet.) Since 2014, I began combining professional sports and dance.
From 2014 to 2017, I danced in a variety dance company in St. Petersburg. I performed at festivals in various cities.
Since 2017, I switched to solo contemporary performances. I have performed at various competitions and won prizes.
Since 2021: Studied with choreographers in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, and Antalya. I focused on developing my skills in contemporary dance, but I also learned tap dancing at a jazz school, girl hop, and high hills. I also took separate ballet classes.

Who or what was the reason for the beginning of dance life.

Since childhood, I’ve been inspired by the magic of performance and the stage: the sparkly costumes, the rhinestones, the makeup and hair, the atmosphere, the jitters before the stage. I specifically took up dance because of a close friend of mine from childhood. At the time, I was inspired by their troupe’s routines. My parents told me that Russia only had professional sports and that dance was completely undeveloped, that dancing was only a thing in America. Eventually, through tears and much persuasion, I agreed with my mother that I would combine dance with gymnastics, and I joined a dance troupe with my friend. My love for lyrical dance developed after watching the American TV show “Dance Moms.” It had a profound impact on me.

Advice for a beginner dancer:
Please don’t stress yourself out or compare yourself to others. You are unique, and your dance is unique. Focus on your inner world and love your body. Dance is about love and self-expression.

Motto in life:
If you can dream it, you can do it
